What a summer! Over eight weeks, our campers explored, created, experimented, built, cooked, planted, painted, splashed, and imagined their way through summer at CMLC.
From investigating light and shadows and getting messy with sensory play to becoming little chefs, builders, gardeners, artists, water scientists, and loose-parts inventors, each week brought something new. Our weekly themes gave us a starting point, but the children’s ideas, questions, and discoveries helped shape where each experience went.
Most of all, our summer was filled with friendships, laughter, creativity, messy hands, big ideas, and lots of play. Thank you to all of our campers and families who spent part of their summer with us. We love having you and can’t wait to do it all again next summer!

OUR JUNIOR COUNSELORS
Summer 2026 also brought something new to CMLC—our very first Curious Minds Junior Counselors!
CMLC alumni returned to spend part of their summer helping our teachers, connecting with younger campers, and experiencing Curious Minds from a whole new perspective. Watching children who once filled our classrooms come back as caring role models was such a special full-circle moment.
We are so proud of the young people they are becoming and hope to continue this tradition for summers to come.

Program Information
Join us for a summer filled with exploration, creativity, connection, and play! Our summer program is open to children ages 2.5–5 years and offers flexible scheduling options to meet your family’s needs.
Each week features a new theme designed to spark children’s natural curiosity through hands-on, Reggio-inspired experiences. Children may find themselves experimenting with light and shadow, cooking and creating in the kitchen, building with loose parts, gardening, making art, exploring water, or following an unexpected idea that grows from their own interests. While each week has a theme, our days remain child-led and responsive. Themes serve as a starting point, with the children’s questions, discoveries, and ideas helping guide where the learning goes.
Most importantly, summer at CMLC is about what summer should feel like: playing with friends, getting messy, spending time outdoors, trying new things, and having fun!
Families may choose between:
- 3-day sessions: Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday
- 5-day sessions: Monday–Friday
Program hours are 8:30 AM–2:30 PM. Enrollment is confirmed once payment is received. Children should bring their own snack and lunch. Nap time is available for children who need it from 12:45 to 2:15 PM.
Summer Program (Ages 2.5–5)
Designed to support early learning through play, exploration, and age-appropriate activities in a nurturing environment.
Junior Counselor Program (Grades 1–4) CMLC ALUMNI ONLY
Our Junior Counselor Program is designed for children entering grades 1–4. Junior Counselors support teachers, assist with activities, and develop leadership skills in a positive, supportive setting.
Multi-Week Discount
- Families who enroll in four or more weeks receive 10% off total tuition.
Refund & Deposit Policy
- Camp enrollments are non-transferable
- A $100 refundable deposit per week is required and will be returned via PayPal on the last day of the program
- 100% refund for cancellations made by March 1, 2027
- 50% refund for cancellations made before April 15, 2027
- If CMLC cancels a camp, a full refund will be issued
